Class and Enrollment Information

2023-2024 Class Offerings
(STARTS SEPTEMBER)
 
High School Equivalent Diploma
High School equivalent instruction in Math, English, Science, History and Elective opportunities. Blended learning combines web based credit recovery material and in class teacher directed instruction. 
Classes are held Monday – Thursday from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

GED Test Prep
Web based instruction designed to prepare students to successfully pass the GED Test. GED prep books are also available for those who would prefer.
Classes are held Tuesday (Math & Science) / Thursday (Eng & Hist) from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
 
Spanish GED Test Prep
Instrucción basada y diseñada para preparar a los estudiantes para aprobar con éxito el examen GED en español. Los libros de preparación para el GED en español también están disponibles para aquellos que lo prefieran.
Las clases se llevan a cabo 
Martes (Matemáticas & Ciencias) / Jueves (Ingles & Historia) de 6:00-9:00 p.m.

English as a Second Language (ESL)
Multi-level course designed to increase verbal, reading and writing in English. Beginner to Advanced welcomed. Blended learning of web based and in class instruction gives real world scenarios and English language skills.
ESL 1 Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
ESL 2 Classes are held Monday and Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
 
Citizenship
Our students will be in an intense and applicable learning environment where they will gain English language skills, history and civics knowledge needed to pass the citizenship exam.
Classes are held Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
 
Eating Smart-Being Active 
Each lesson is short and informative.  Kinesthetic activities help students engage in the learning process, increasing their retention of the new information and skills. Lesson content includes physical activity, nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, food preparation (cooking skill development), food safety, and food resource management.
Classes are held Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
 
Culinary Arts Workshop
Each workshop is short and informative, they run in 6 week segments and will vary on topics covered. Please reach out to us with any questions that you have. These amazingly fun workshops can be taken as a for credit class or a community interest segment.
Classes are held Saturday from 9:00a-1:00p
 
Computer Knowledge
Our students will be learning the basics of how to navigate a computer. This is a beginning level class that is open to any students who are wanting to learn basic MS Office skills.
Classes are held TO BE DETERMINED.
